Blowing dandelion seeds in sunlight.png

Welcome - I'm glad you're here

Reaching out for support can take a great deal of courage. You may be feeling overwhelmed, unable to cope, pushing feelings down — or not even sure what’s going on, only that something doesn’t feel right. It’s okay not to know what’s wrong, and you don’t have to have the words yet. We can take it one step at a time and explore this gently together.

“Even if you can’t name it yet, your feelings matter — and they deserve space.”

A gentle place to be seen, held, and supported — even when things feel messy or hard to name.

Welcome, my name is Jane

I offer online counselling for adults who want a gentle, steady space to explore their inner world at their own pace. Working online means you can access support from wherever you feel most comfortable, without added pressure or travel. It also means you can choose a confidential, distraction-free space where you feel most at ease.

I offer online counselling for adults who want a gentle, steady space to explore their inner world at their own pace.

You don’t need to have the perfect words. We can explore what’s going on at your pace and work together towards greater clarity, coping and change.

A gentle, person-centred approach

My approach is person-centred and shaped around what matters most to you. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, life transitions, or perhaps bereavement.  Or something you can’t quite name yet, you're welcome to bring whatever you are carrying.

Why "Dandelion" Counselling?

The dandelion may look delicate, yet it carries deep strength — growing in unexpected places, surviving difficult seasons, and still finding a way to bloom. It represents the heart of the therapeutic journey: letting go of what no longer serves you, growing through what you’ve lived, and remembering that healing often begins with one small step forward.

Therapy is about more than understanding the past, it is also living in the here and now  — it’s about discovering ways to heal, restore, and build resilience. Like dandelions, which can thrive in challenging conditions, you may uncover strength, growth, and the potential to find hope, beauty, and meaning even in life’s most difficult experiences.

“Therapy is a space where your story can be held with care — where nothing is too small, too heavy, or too complicated to bring into the room.”

real sense he is weeping for joy. It is as though he were saying. “Thank God, somebody heard me. Someone knows what it’s like to be me” – Carl Rogers
